I run workshops to help understand French grammar rules. With plenty of exercises, practice will soon make you perfect and not worry about getting the wrong tense anymore.
The book chosen provides an interesting focus to explore and learn new words and phrases. As we work through we complete mini exercises.
We also run a pod cast club, which gives us a chance to explore our understanding of what is being said and learn some key cultural facts whilst increasing our vocabulary.
I currently run lunchtime and after-school classes for year 1 to year 6 pupils at Whyteleafe School, Hillcroft School in Caterham, Furzefield school in Mersham and St Peter and St Paul’s School in Chaldon.
Lessons normally last between 30 and 45 minutes and are based on a mixture of fun and practical games and activities, using Governmental educational guidelines. Learning includes a mixture of hands-on activities, singing, role plays, games, written tasks and is supported by a point awards system.
Fee £4 per 30 minute lessons, £5 for 45 minute lessons.
If you are interested please discuss this with your school’s headteacher first and then ask him/her to contact me directly.
One-to-one tuitions are hugely beneficial to GCSE and A level students, in particular to reinforce their grammar knowledge and use of tenses in order to perform well in their written exams as well as to practice and maximise their potential in their oral presentations for fluency, accuracy, pronunciation and use of varied vocabulary.
Students are prepared for their listening, speaking, reading and writing exams, taking into account each student’s weaknesses and preparing them to meet criteria for each individual exam board.
Lessons cost £35/hour and are organised to suit each student’s timetable.
If you prefer learning French from the comfort of your house, then by connecting via webcam, you can join me live for one-to-one tuition. Lessons will then be tailored-made to your needs and reasons for learning French.
Fee £35 per hour.
Learning French at work can open new opportunities and new doors and facilitate communication with customers abroad. In the current business climate, speaking French in a competitive business environment is definitely an added skill, which only few British people possess.

“My children love to come to French club. Thank you for making their learning so much fun and so enjoyable. It was great to see them trying to buy some bread in France”.
"Muriel is a very devoted teacher and she really works hard and goes out of her way to teach us. Her classes are very enjoyable and fun. I not only learnt a lot during the past few years that I attended her evening French classes but I also enjoyed them very much and I am looking forward to our next term"
